Had a very enjoyable all inclusive week stay here with my young family. The food was very good (though can feel like a bit of a scrum around pinch points in the buffet - and we were not able to go the steak restaurant as was fully booked). The staff were great. The pools are also great and our kids (and we) loved the waterpark in the sister hotel next door. Our room was pretty small, but that was clearly the case when we booked so no complaints on that front.

This hotel is really nice. Beautiful design and views and we had great times with the family. The food is exceptional where the main dining hall works to perfection - taste, diversity, high level of service - everything! I loved the kids activities and the overall layout with multiple pools and great beach access. Also there is a overall feeling of generosity with beverages being brought to the pools frequently and that goes a long way

This is a proper 5* resort. Comfortable rooms, various and good food, programs for kids, shows in the evenings. Kind and helpful staff. Many sunbeds, many pools.

The team here is amazing, always smiling and genuinely eager to help make your vacation the best it can be. The Thimari restaurant was really pleasant, with a perfect beach view. There are so many pools that it never feels crowded. Our first room faced the Lyttos Beach theater, so it was a bit loud. The team at reception kindly moved us to a quieter room, which we really appreciated. Also, since our flight was in the late afternoon, the hotel provided a luggage room to store our suitcases and a shower so we could stay at the hotel and enjoy all the facilities until it was time to leave. We had an amazing time and would surely recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Lyttos Mare was amazing. The staff was friendly and the hotel is beautiful and clean. When we arrived, the hotel had opened for a few days for the season. Because of this, the snack location and Greek restaurant were not open yet. The street food (snacks) opened the day after our arrival, but the Greek restaurant remained closed during our stay. There were enough sunbeds for everyone. Drinks were great, the food in the restaurants was great. There was enough variation and you can place a reservation for the asian restaurant and the steak restaurant. Special thanks to the staff as service from everyone was amazing!

The place is stunning and met all of our expectations. The hotel is very well maintained, and the service was kind, attentive, and immediate – the entire hotel staff was simply amazing. The food was mediocre in taste and we were disappointed that we couldn’t really enjoy it, although there was definitely a wide variety and abundance in the dining room.

Highly recommended, simply best hotel in Crete, Staff, service, cleanness, food quality & selection, management, we had a family holiday visit last week, we really enjoyed staying in Lyttos Mare. The main restaurant manager "George" is a great friendly person, I was surprised how he could manage such large capacity restaurant and deliver such good service and quality food from its kitchen. Location is great for both adults relaxation and kids activities. Pools are very clean...always find space around pools.. Room is very clean, bed was very comfortable. I normally read reviews before I booked a place, we heard some people saying kids are playing until late and noisy evenings, this was not the case at all, this is very high class hotel, all kids and guests are very polite and friendly too. Beautiful hotel, very nice area with pools & restaurants/bars, direct access to the beach. Sports options and nice food for all family members throughout the day. The private pool felt very luxurious and we loved that you could always find a free sunbed or quiet place for relaxing.
